Affordable Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) tablet formally introduced
A few days ago information about a new Samsung entry-level tablet emerged, but while the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) was already available for purchase in some Asian countries, the slate wasn't properly introduced by the South Korean giant.

Earlier today, Samsung announced it has decided to expand its portfolio of Android tablet with a new one, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), which is supposed to be “the ideal tablet for enjoying your favorite content, wherever you are.”

Despite the fact that it's an entry-level tablet, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features a sleek metallic design meant to give it a premium look and feel. As the name suggests, the tablet sports an 8-inch WXGA display with 16:10 ratio.

Since this is an entry-level product, it doesn't leave too much room for powerful specs, so don't expect anything amazing to be packed under the hood. However, the tablet does come with 2-month free YouTube Premium and a 3-month free Spotify Premium subscription. It's worth mentioning though that these premium benefits are valid to new subscribers only in those markets where the services are provided.

On the inside, Samsung included a 2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processor, only 2GB RAM, and 32GB expandable storage. The tablet also features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front. Dual speakers and a generous 5,100 mAh battery are included as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is already available for purchase in many markets across the world for around $160, but the price might vary by country.
