Galaxy S8 name and new AI assistant mentioned in Samsung employee LinkedIn profile
Among the many new features that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship phone should bring, we've mentioned, more than once, an enhanced digital assistant. Possibly called Bixby, the new assistant will allegedly be much more useful than S Voice, thanks to the AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology that Samsung gained last year after buying Viv.

Both the new AI assistant and the Galaxy S8 name are now referenced in the LinkedIn profile of June K. Sung, Principal Program Manager at Samsung Electronics USA. More exactly, the Manager's profile mentions that he's responsible for driving "the execution and delivery for Samsung's upcoming AI (Artificial Intelligence) assistant on Galaxy S8." That's in case you weren't truly convinced that a Galaxy S8 with a new AI assistant was coming soon.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will probably be announced in late March, so we're still about two months away from finding out all there is to know about it. Anyway, it looks like there will be two variants of the phone (with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch screens, respectively), both expected to be available starting April 14.
