Samsung intros the Black Pearl Galaxy S7 edge 128 GB in select markets
Samsung today officially announced a seventh color variant of its Galaxy S7 edge smartphone: Black Pearl. The new model comes only in a 128 GB flavor, and will be sold "in select markets" starting tomorrow, December 9. As reported yesterday, one of these markets is South Korea, Samsung's home country.

Since the recently unveiled Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge can be bought in the US, the brand new Black Pearl version might also be available stateside at some point. However, for now, we don't have confirmation on this. In any case, because we're talking about a 128 GB handset, you should expect this to be a bit more expensive than the standard 32 GB model that's currently being sold everywhere.

The Black Pearl Galaxy S7 edge is not too different from the Black Onyx variant of the phone that's been released in the first half of the year, but it's a bit glossier, and, according to Samsung, it "radiates quality and luxury." We'd say this is a worthy alternative to Apple's Jet Black iPhone 7 (assuming, of course, that you don't mind the major differences between Android and iOS). Take a look at the new Galaxy S7 edge below and let us know if you like what you're seeing.
