Sale underway at B&H on the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X

Sale underway at B&H on the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X
B&H Photo Video is the large non-chain store of its type in the U.S. It also is right near Madison Square Garden and some other iconic New York City landmarks. Starting Friday morning at midnight eastern standard time, B&H started putting some Nexus handsets on sale via the retailer's website. The 32GB Nexus 6P is $50 off, priced at $449. In addition, you also receive a $50 B&H gift card.

The 64GB Nexus 6P is $50 off at $499, and you will still receive the $50 B&H gift card. Both Nexus 6P models are unlocked, and come in Graphite, Aluminum and Gold. They are both compatible with all major U.S. carriers.

The 16GB Nexus 5X can be purchased in Mint or Black from B&H for $299. That is a $50 savings from the usual price of $349. The 32GB Nexus 5X in Black or Mint is $349, $50 off from the pre-sale price of $399.

B&H does have a special deal for the 32GB Nexus 5X in white. Besides the $50 price cut to $349, use the Promo code BHNEXUS5X when you check out, and the price will be $299. Like the Nexus 6P, all versions of the Nexus 5X will work with the four major U.S. carriers.

B&H hasn't said when the deal expires, so you might want to take advantage of this sale now.

The 6P seems to be a solid device. I have not heard as much good about the 5X. A nice device, but nothing really strong.

The 5X is a terrible follow up. Even the Nexus 6 would be a better choice. ... On second thought, maybe not. But it's still a terrible phone compared to the Moto X.
