It still befuddles us why Sony is the only Android smartphone manufacturer who caters to the compact handset market. While any other handset maker is happy to sling out 5.3", 5.5", and even 5.7" screens, they still forget that there are users out there that like their phone to be easy to pocket and easy to wield with one hand. Sure, it's a diminishing amount of people, but their money is still good, right?
And wanting a small smartphone does not make you less of a poweruser — you may still want powerful hardware and a great camera. Who doesn't? Apple got that and it made the
iPhone SE. Sony gets that and it keeps its Compact line going. With all that said, let's take a quick look at how the new
Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact compares in size next to its big brother — the
Xperia XZ1 —, the aforementioned iPhone SE, and the many other contemporary Android flagships, which have the same hardware as this little scoundrel!
