PowerPoint presentation leaks revealing specs for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2
We've seen a number of leaks, benchmark tests and rumors related to the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Today, we have leaked PowerPoint slides that allegedly give away the specs of the upcoming phablet. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun says that the unit is in mass production, and we expect the device to be unveiled on October 25th.

The slides show that the Mi Note 2 will come with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Force Touch, carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Snapdragon 821 chipset is under the hood with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. One version comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Another variant features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A dual camera setup is on back with a 23MP camera (Sony IMX318 sensor) and a 12MP camera (Sony IMX378 sensor). An 8MP front-facing camera is available for selfies and to handle video chats.

Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is embedded under the display, and a 4100mAh battery keeps the lights on. Quick Charge capabilities allow the cell to charge rapidly, and an iris scanner offers another way to unlock the device. With NFC enabled, the handset will support Mi Pay. The version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at the equivalent of $415 USD. The model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost the equivalent of $445 USD.

Check out the slides by clicking on the slideshow below.

I really hate xiaomi for doing this. ever since mi4 variant. mi4, mi4i, mi4c mi4s... Now I am stuck at mi4 and mi4c. I dont want to be an impulsive buyer, the xiaomi I use still work very well D:

My experience with my mi4 & mi4c has been a good experience with the camera module. Lotsa user actually missing the miui camera when trying to use CM or AOSP based roms.

This is close but still not 'IT'. Why no USB 3.1, why no water resistance?

This price is very close to mi 5s plus that was launched just recently, doesn't make sense to me. This will definitely cannibalize mi 5s plus sales.

Wow thats impressive. What is the benefit of having 23mp and 12mp camera? One have large pixels and the other small. How they will merge the picture from both camera?
