PlayStation Phone rumoured to come in March, new photos leaked
A Chinese site published a preview of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play's gaming capabilities two days ago, and now another site from the "country in the middle" has confirmed some previous rumours - once again, it's said that the PlayStation Phone will run Gingerbread and will join the Sony Ericsson Xperia family with the XPERIA Play name.

The report notes this is only a prototype rather than the retail version, but it's "90% of the official version", so these pictures below give us a fairly good idea of what to expect from the design of the XPERIA Play. The Chinese site concludes that there is no official release date as of now, but it's likely it will come in March this year.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play is being leaked at alarming rates lately, but our guess is that the official announcement will come during MWC in Barcelona (February 14-17). As with CES, we will be there to tell you all you need to know, but in the meantime, tell us what you think - Sony Ericsson is set to release the beautiful Xperia arc this quarter, and everything points that the yet unannounced XPERIA Play is coming soon as well. Do you think these phones will bring the Swedish-Japanese joint venture back among the most famed and successful smartphone manufacturers?
