Pick up the Alcatel Idol 5S for just $200 from Amazon; entry-level Alcatel A30 is only $60
Here's a deal that you can get prepared for. Starting on Thursday, November 23rd at 12:00 AM PST, and running through November 27th at 11:59 PM PST, the Alcatel Idol 5S is yours for the low price of $199.99 from Amazon. Normally, it would take $279.99 to purchase the handset. While the phone is available every day at $199.99 as a Prime Exclusive model, with the sale starting in a couple of days, you won't be forced to watch ads on the lock screen.

So what do you get for $199.99? Well, you get a phone with a 5.2-inch display carrying a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). Powering the device is the energy sipping Snapdragon 625 chipset with an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of native storage (23GB available to the end user). Adorning the rear of the phone is a 12MP camera featuring an aperture of f/2.0, and the front-facing 8MP snapper handles selfies and video chats. A rear mounted fingerprint scanner is on board and a 2620mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android Nougat is pre-installed. This unlocked model is compatible with all four major U.S. carriers. That means it will work with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

Also on sale from Amazon starting Thursday is the budget priced Alcatel A30. Priced on sale at $59.99, the device comes with a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 HD resolution. The Snapdragon 210 chipset powers the handset, which features a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 304 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage. Those seeking additional storage can take advantage of the 32GB capacity microSD slot. The camera combo from back to front weighs in at 8MP and 5MP respectively, and a 2460mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android Nougat is pre-installed.

If you're looking for a mid-range model at a decent price, or an entry-level handset that would make a great first smartphone for your kid, click on the sourcelinks below. Remember that the sale prices won't show up until November 23rd at midnight PST.
