People Sense allows Windows Phone users to find, navigate to, and communicate with their contacts
Currently being tested in a private beta under the title "Buddy Aware," Microsoft's "People Sense" feature allows Windows Phone users to share their location in real time with their contacts. For example, a map with directions to a contact's location can be called up. Users can communicate with someone on their contact list by messaging or via a phone call, and there is integration with third party apps to help you make a connection.

The latest change to the program was made on February 17th which means that this is not some ancient program that you will never see in your lifetime. This is a current work-in-progress and new features will be added before People Sense makes it to the Windows Phone Store.

A video has been posted to social media that shows off some of the features of People Sense. This sounds like the perfect application for you social animals out there. Check out what the beta looks like by clicking on the video below.

That's interesting; I find that I'm generally the most intelligent person within 100 square kilometers as well. It all makes sense now.

We thank you for your opinion Tim, we really do, but owing to the fact that you really just did a horrible job replacing Steve, we're pretty much just going to have to do the opposite of whatever you deem to be right from here on out. So thank you for letting us know that we should love Windows Phones. Regards, Apple Shareholder

Good app, like find my friends on iOS but 3 years later Even so, WP is better everyday, good for microsoft

Wait... this lets you call and text on your phone? wow... kidding... but I can use iMessage to locate or share location with people... it's extremely useful when trying to meet up with friends... now it's Android's turn to integrate this on OS level and maybe there will be a way to cross platform this feature....

Except iMessage only works if those in your contacts are also iOS users. Maybe Apple can learn a thing or two from Microsoft about cross-platform integration.

I agree, that was my point. Google and MS are in the business where "cross platforming" benefits their income, Apple is not, unfortunately. My non apple friends would love to have iMessage and iCloud services like music match on their phones not just on PC. "Cross Platforming" is a trademark of AlikMalix, and cannot be used by anyone unless your nice to me. lol. Kidding.

I think there's already an app for that on android....

I was talking system integration - there are many apps like this for android and iOS. Just nice to have everyone on board which can only be achieved with os integration, instead of asking everyone to install all these apps and sign up for a service.
