Pair of issues causes delay for T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide's Froyo update
By now, the release of the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide has long gone as owners of the device sit back looking pretty as they patiently await the arrival of its anticipated Android 2.2 Froyo update. And with word about the newer myTouch 3G and Fender editions getting the tasty treat, owners of the myTouch 3G Slide are probably thinking the good news will be gracing them soon.

Unfortunately, the update is being delayed because of two stemming issues that are holding up its inevitable release. First and foremost, it appears that Wi-Fi calling doesn't work all the time, but it's not known for sure as to what's the exact reasoning behind it. Lastly, the over-the-air update is set to placed in the wrong partition – which apparently won't have the required memory to get through the update process.

In any event, let's just hope that these two items can be expedited so that owners can finally experience all the goodness of Froyo.
