Orange UK will offer BlackBerry Pearl through pre paid service

It’s quite remarkable whenever you see any smart phone being offered through a pre paid service. The majority of the devices offered are basic at its core with very little business like options. Earlier rumours confirmed and Orange UK announced today that they will be the first to offer the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 to their Pay As You Go (PAYG) customers. The great thing about everything is that the device will be offered for £145 ($206) for a no contract deal with data access at £5 (approximately $7) a month. Customers must purchase the device and choose one of Orange’s existing PAYG Animal packages before being eligible for the £5 data plan. This makes a great solution for anyone wishing to get their hands on a sleek BlackBerry with an even nicer monthly data plan. Who says you need a lengthy contract to get one? We can only wish local carriers will also offer such option in future.
