OnePlus teaser says that something luxurious is coming

On the bottom of the image are the words "A bit of welcome luxury." This could be a teaser for a leather SwapStyle rear cover for the OnePlus 2. Current SwapStyle covers for the phone feature Black Kevlar, Bamboo, Rosewood and Black Apricot, each priced at $26.99.
On the OnePlus Google+ page, the company writes that "something luxurious is coming to OnePlus. What could it be?" It looks like the answer is a leather back for those fashionistas rocking the OnePlus 2. Back in July we told you that the material could find its way to the back of OnePlus' second phone.
We would expect to hear about pricing and availability once the new SwapStyle cover is officially introduced.
Thanks for the tip!

A little luxury you have to get an invite for. I'm all for these companies succeeding and I think oneplus has something legit going with their Oxygen OS (preferable to any of the skinned versions of Android). But they'll continue to be a boutique company until they straighten out their production issues.

Probably one of the most hyped phones of 2015 that instantly became a flop.

To be fair, that can be said for almost every 2015 device...

Lmfao. Cheap bamboo wood and kevlar. What about carbon fibre, sapphire glass, really 99% copper, and 430 grade stainless steel, or rhodium silver. And oak or marble.

They're not going to back a back cover worth more than the device itself now. Remember, this is a "budget" phone.

How are you even going to attach metal or sapphire glass onto the back of a device anyway

Why would you want 99% copper? That stuff would corrode and feel terrible over time. Not to mention copper is weak. Not durable.
