OnePlus X can be bought without an invite at these 8 pop-up stores
OnePlus today announced its third smartphone to date: the OnePlus X, which is significantly different from the company's other two handsets (OnePlus One and OnePlus 2).

The OnePlus X will be released in November in many markets, including the US, Canada, Europe, and India. The not-so-great news is that, in the first month of availability, you'll need an invite to actually purchase the smartphone. However, there is a way in which you could buy a OnePlus X directly: by visiting one of OnePlus' pop-up stores that the company will be setting up in various important cities around the world.

OnePlus already revealed the list of pop-up stores that it's going to set up (including exact dates when sales will be open), so check it out below. Mind you, only a limited number of OnePlus X handsets will be sold at these stores (on a "first come, first serve basis"), so make sure you get there early if you really want to buy the new smartphone invite-free. Anyway, here's the list of upcoming OnePlus pop-up stores:

  • Paris,

    France (November 2-4)
  • Mumbai, India (November 2)
  • New Delhi, India (November 3)
  • London, UK (November 7)
  • Berlin, Germany (November 9)
  • Rome, Italy (November 11)
  • Hong Kong (November 12)
  • Los Angeles, USA (November 21)
Details on the exact location of each store will be revealed at OnePlus' official website (see the source link below). As you may know, prices for the OnePlus X will start at $249 (or €269 in Europe). Check out our OnePlus X hands-on to find out more about the phone's features and design.

F.ck you OP, I will surely not beg you to take my money, oh no. And GS5 is better than this X, I prefer design of OPX but GS5 is water proof, has excellent screen (not saying X hasn't tho), good battery life, and removable battery, incredible community support, great audio, still awesome camera etc. I would consider OPX if it was smaller, but if it has to be 5 inches I would surely buy some other 2014 flagship which is probably cheaper and I don't have to waste time on this stupid invite game

"great audio"??? I know you're not talking about the loud speaker. The iPhone 3G has a louder speaker (real world testing) than the S5. You want smaller, yet the S5 is bigger...

Better audio NEVER means better speakers. It means a better digital to analog converter, or DAC. All phones pretty much suck at speakers. Even 20$ speakers can beat the crap out of boomsound. So if I want to hear quality sound over my phone, I'd use a pair of headphones or use an external speaker.

^ This Speakers on phone are not to meant to enjoy music on. Its just so that you can hear your phone ring or listening to audio very occasionally when your earphones aren't around.

wow what an example. smartphones speakers with $20 speakers comparison. you forgot one thing. you've to carry everywhere you go but if it come with smartphone that is better than $20 speakers. moto X, Nexus 6/6p, HTC speakers are better than any. BTW after owing S6 you got bias ;) or maybe you were already samsung fan.

I just have my opinions. Smartphone speakers suck. That's about it. And I take my headphone pair everywhere as you can't blast your music in a public place and annoy surroundings. Regarding home(which should be the only place to listen to music without earphones), I have better speakers to listen to. So no, I don't need good pair of stereo speakers on my phone. As the only reason I need them for is notifications, alarm and calls.

I couldn't care less about external speaker, it's for notification purpose ONLY. S5 is great in headphone audio, especially Exynos version which has Wolfson DAC. And I know S5 is bigger but not by very much. My point is, if OPX is almost as big as S5, why not take S5 which is much better value? I personally will not buy any of these, Z5C is biggest I can go with.

Pros: AMOLED SD CARD PREMIUM DESIGN Cons: Processor 1080 5 inch screen (Cool, but the same screen the Samsung S4 has, upgrade a little?) No USB-C 16GB Standard Wireless Charging???NFC???

1080p is advantage IMO, doesn't eat battery a lot, that plus AMOLED and efficient 801 should make up for good endurance 16 GB is by no means a con in this case because there is SD slot. Should go with 805, it would be beast Rest I agree

Nah 805 would be a little too power hungry. Plus in the 805 you need something extra (forgot what it was, something to do with the PCB) so it'll cost a little extra. The design language is really stunning though!

Has there been any info saying this is the same panel used on an S4? If not then the only thing they might have in common is their stats. Given a few years I would expect a 2015 AMOLED to be a far cry from what was found on the S4. For 250 this is a very nice build and decent spec phone. If the camera is up there with current flagships at all this is a great buy for the less tech spec hungry.

The thing I dont like is that 'invite-me game' to get a phone, it looks premium but.... I think people rather choose to go to any store and get any other option faster and easier.

Nice phone, not tempting enough to upgrade from my OnePlus One...wonder if it has NFC and quick charge.
