OnePlus X can be bought without an invite at these 8 pop-up stores
OnePlus today announced its third smartphone to date: the OnePlus X, which is significantly different from the company's other two handsets (OnePlus One and OnePlus 2).

The OnePlus X will be released in November in many markets, including the US, Canada, Europe, and India. The not-so-great news is that, in the first month of availability, you'll need an invite to actually purchase the smartphone. However, there is a way in which you could buy a OnePlus X directly: by visiting one of OnePlus' pop-up stores that the company will be setting up in various important cities around the world.

OnePlus already revealed the list of pop-up stores that it's going to set up (including exact dates when sales will be open), so check it out below. Mind you, only a limited number of OnePlus X handsets will be sold at these stores (on a "first come, first serve basis"), so make sure you get there early if you really want to buy the new smartphone invite-free. Anyway, here's the list of upcoming OnePlus pop-up stores:

  • Paris, France (November 2-4)
  • Mumbai, India (November 2)
  • New Delhi, India (November 3)
  • London, UK (November 7)
  • Berlin, Germany (November 9)
  • Rome, Italy (November 11)
  • Hong Kong (November 12)
  • Los Angeles, USA (November 21)
Details on the exact location of each store will be revealed at OnePlus' official website (see the source link below). As you may know, prices for the OnePlus X will start at $249 (or €269 in Europe). Check out our OnePlus X hands-on to find out more about the phone's features and design.
