Nokia X full specs revealed ahead of May 16 unveiling
Nokia X, HMD Global's first foray into the notch display design, is expected to go official in China on May 16. However, the handset was showcased early this month at an exhibition in Beijing where HMD had all its smartphones on display for everyone to see and try.

Unfortunately, the Nokia X showcased at the event was locked and no details about specifications were made available. The good news is the smartphone recently paid a visit to the Chinese Telecommunication Agency and much of the hardware inside has been revealed in the listing.

Apparently, the mid-range smartphone will sport a 5.8-inch display with FHD+ resolution (2280 x 1080 pixels) and 3,000 mAh battery. On the inside, the Nokia X has been confirmed to pack a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, paired with 3GB, 4GB or 6GB RAM.

As far as the storage goes, Nokia X will be available in two variations based on the amount of internal memory – 32GB and 64GB, but both will feature microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

The 16-megapixel dual-camera might not include Zeiss lenses as we initially thought, but they might be added to the international model. Finally, the Nokia X will run Android 8.1.0 right out of the box and will be available in three colors: Black, Blue, and Silver White.
