Nokia N8 expected to be at MWC with its 12-megapixel camera & 720p recording?
With so many manufacturers expected to make some big announcements, it's going to take a lot to get the attention of people during MWC. The world's biggest phone maker plans on having an ace up its sleeve in the form of the Nokia N8. New handset announcements are always nice, but the Nokia N8 does make for one compelling device based on rumors of what it's packing under the hood. First of all, it's scheduled for a summer release and features a 3.5” capacitive touchscreen, 12-megapixel camera, 720p video capture at 30 frames per second, HDMI output, and Video on-Demand through the Ovi Store. Aside from its camera centric focus, the N8 will be the first handset to offer Symbian^3. We've already heard how Nokia aims to pass up on version 2 of the Symbian platform in favor of version 3 – now it's becoming a reality with the Nokia N8. For those that aren't aware about it, Symbian^3 will offer a simpler and beautiful UI, higher performance, and multi-touch gestures on capacitive screens.
