Nokia Lumia 620 to get water and dust resistant cover soon
The Nokia Lumia 620 is a relatively modest Windows Phone 8 handset that is made to attract the younger crowd. That's why it comes in a range of flashy, youthful colors and fancy finishes applied to its back cover. Moreover, its shell is removable, allowing one to have several of them in different colors.

But if a Nokia Lumia 620 prioritizes protection over looks, then this upcoming cover might suit their needs. Multiple sources indicate that there's a water-resistant cover coming for the Nokia Lumia 620. The accessory is reportedly rated IP54 for protection against dust and water damage, although it isn't guaranteed to survive after a dunk in the swimming pool. (A device would need something like IP67 certification for that.)

Word comes from Sander Teunissen, who works at Nokia Netherlands as a B2B Sales Manager. Additionally, sources for Windows Phone Live! have confirmed the existence of a Nokia Lumia 620 waterproof cover, although they clarify that it will take more than a few days before the accessory is released.

What the upcoming Nokia Lumia 620 accessory will look like isn't clear. Perhaps it will replace the device's shell, or it might be an actual protective case that the smartphone will be placed in. We'll let you know in case we learn more on the matter.
