Nokia uses Star Wars Day to tease the release of its Android phones
Even if you're not a Star Wars fan, you probably know that today, May 4, is Star Wars Day

Similarly, even if you're not a Nokia fan, you're likely aware of the fact that that the Finish company (once the indisputable leader of the smartphone market) is back this year* with a trio of Android-based handsets: Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3.

Nokia Mobile found a way to use Star Wars Day as a reminder that its new phones are almost ready to be released around the world. As you can see in the video below, Nokia is celebrating the 4th of May by readying its handsets, which are "coming to your galaxy very soon." Of course, it's not just Android devices that are coming soon, as we also have the Nokia 3310 candybar - the father of all phones, as Nokia puts it.

All four new Nokia handsets - 3 smartphones, plus 1 feature phone - should be launched globally before the end of June. For now, Nokia can't share exact release dates. Anyway, we've already spent some time with these devices, so you can take a closer look at them by checking out our Nokia 6 hands-on, Nokia 5 hands-on, Nokia 3 hands-on, and Nokia 3310 hands-on.

Feel free to let us know if you're planning to buy any of Nokia's new phones, okay?

* - More exactly, Nokia is back in the smartphone business thanks to HMD Global, a new Finish company created by former Nokia employees with this exact goal: to develop and sell Nokia phones. HMD Global works closely with Nokia Corporation, and has exclusive rights to use the Nokia brand on mobile phones.

It would be so good, if Nokia 3310 (2017) was GSM+CDMA phone that worked CDMA 800 MHz on Perfectum in Uzbekistan, like on Verizon and Sprint in the United States of America. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.............

Nice. Good to see Nokia back in the game. IMO it the worst move Nokia could have done was selecting Win phone over Android - But I understand completely why - When your CEO was a former Employee of Microsoft that is eventually where you will go back to. I always felt that if Nokia made the Jump to Android back then it would have given if not beat Samsung at being the top Phone manufacture and be best Android OEM. But that was not to be the case. anyway its good to see Nokia back and trying.
