While "The Dark Knight" did not fare too well as nominations for the Academy Awards were announced, the cellphone that made its debut in that movie, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, has been extremely successful as the Finnish manufacturer announced that shipments of the device have reached 1 million units. The phone originally went on sale in October in certain countries and today was introduced to a UK audience that greeted the model warmly. Over 150 customers waited on line outside the flagship Nokia store on Regent Street in London, attempting to be among the first in the country to own the initial S60 touchscreen phone. The 5800 XpressMusic features a 3.2 inch widescreen display, a 3.2MP camera, 3.5 mm earphone jack and powerful speakers. While Batman and friends will not win an Oscar for Best Picture, if there was a category for Best Cellphone to Debut in a Motion Picture, this model might be the winner. Any jokers out there disagree?
