Nexus 6P-lookalike Huawei Mate S2 photos and specs leak from TENAA

An interesting new Huawei smartphone presented itself on Chinese telecoms authority TENAA's website. It's a Nexus 6P-lookalike with a slightly refined design that features rounded edges. It lacks front-facing speakers and the power button is placed below the volume rocker, instead of above, like on the Google phone. The TENAA listing also talks of a force touch display.

A smaller and more compact rendition of the Nexus 6P, the smartphone which is referred to as the Huawei Mate S2 is listed with a 5.5-inch display and it's powered by the Kirin 960 octa-core chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM. There's a 16MP camera on the back, and an 8MP camera is on the front. The battery unit is sized 3500mAh.

Allegedly, the smartphone will be unveiled September 1, running Android Marshmallow with Huawei's latest EMUI interface.
