New set of Nokia 8 live pictures leak ahead of August 16 reveal
Finnish company HMD Global has already confirmed a launch event for August 16 where there's a high chance we'll see the Nokia 8 flagship. We already know quite a few things about the smartphone's specs, but also what it looks like.

Many pictures showing the gold-copper version of the Nokia 8 leaked during the week, but if you haven't seen them yet, here is a new set that should give you an idea of what to expect from HMD's flagship design-wise.

The live images confirm the Nokia 8 will feature a physical Home button on the front side, which is likely to house the fingerprint sensor. On the back, there's a dual-camera setup, possibly featuring Zeiss lens and a LED flash.

We can also see that the Nokia 8 will feature dual-SIM hybrid support, which means you can have either two SIM cards, or a SIM and a microSD card at the same time.

The device in the images looks like a prototype unit since it doesn't have the Zeiss logo etched on the back side. Also, there are some major typos in the phone's software, which are visible when the phone is booted up.

Hmm, it just doesn't take click with me. Don't get me wrong, I love Nokia, but this phone just doesn't feel "special". I would rather have them design something like the old polycarbonate Lumias than this.

like lumia 820? this is just affordable flagship, those who like perfomance and no nonsense design. if you want better design, less bezell, better camera, etc wait for Nokia 9, real flagship.

IMO fans were looking for an improved design based on the Lumia 920 flagship. This phone's design language was seen as best in class for its time. See pic here:https://cnet2.cbsistatic.com/img/NZgY6z3oD2BlASqcIaJdcGnuxos=/830x467/2012/09/17/8ad2192b-cc2e-11e2-9a4a-0291187b029a/nokia-lumia-920_6.jpg Think back a bit. If I remember correctly, the general consensus upon release from even Apple fans was Nokia now had the best phone design. This is why people are dissatisfied; fans wanted a continuation of this phone running Android. I don't think anyone will find the Nokia 8 ugly, but I understand why some would be disappointed by the design if this is indeed Nokia's true Android flagship.

Sorry, but the 920 is simply ugly.

920 = Nokia 9 820= Nokia 8 dont expect premium design in 8 series, 8 series is simple design with high specs, 9 series is premium design and high specs.

Was really looking forward to this phone. But the design looks low end. Looks just like all the other nokias

The top & bottom bezels are very large for 2017 even the Samsung S6 has smaller bezels.

It's pretty on par for non-flagship devices in 2017.

I totally agree that the bezels are too much for 2017, but I think it's okay if the device performs really well and if it isn't overpriced like the iPhones because even iPhones have good amount of bezel but everybody just ignores it because of its good performance(not the best). I think we should give Nokia a chance and not point out such small issues.(That's my opinion and I totally respect your opinion)

I'm okay with the larger bezels. Not every device has to go the micro bezel route. Make a solid device with quality parts and put a competitive price tag on it and I'll bite. Chasing the trends of the competition won't get them anywhere. You can't out Samsung, Samsung (LG is learning that lesson). But there's absolutely room for a different design language, especially if they can keep up the promise of stock android with rapid fire security updates.

Looking forward for this release. Don't really care about whether it has bezels or not. I care about how well it performs and if it provides what I want and need in a smartphone.

Of course you don't. I don't see you complaining about anyone else talking about the bezels.

Lol, so much pain in your comment. And you've never complain about the iPhone's bezels, so why complain about Nokia's? Oh, that's right. It's because you're a trolling hypocrite.

Still harping and deflecting with the iphone I see. You have no compelling argument against what I said.

Lol, still deflecting from the fact that I proved that you're a trolling hypocrite. You have no compelling argument against what I said.

You wouldn't know what a compelling argument is if it came and slapped you in the face and knocked some much needed sense in you.

You first. You have been attacking me in Nokia articles just because I said something about the bezels, which several other users have also commented on. Don't deflect from the truth docalphajpmeanestcho.
