New BlackBerry Messenger to appear on all 'Berry's running 5.0 OS?

Last week we reported about the new BlackBerry Messenger app and some of the features that 'Berry users are gonna love. The guys at BGR have been messing around with a Curve 8900 using the BlackBerry 5.0 OS and they have discovered that all 'Berry's using that OS build will have this version of Messenger on the handset. They also found some more interesting things that this application can do. For example, if you're in a rush or feeling too lazy to enter your new friend's BlackBerry PIN number into your phone, just ask your pal to click the 'send barcode' option and viola! A barcode appears on your screen which you scan with the camera on your phone and your friend becomes a new contact on your list. Threaded SMS will also be available on the new Messenger as well as a function to backup your Messenger list to a microSD card. Are all you BlackBerry users ready?
