Mystery Nokia device found on logistics tracking site
The other day, we explained how some mystery Samsung devices were found on Zauba. This is a logistic tracking site that posts certain imports into and exports out of India. We've seen Samsung import devices into India for testing and evaluation, and now Nokia is doing the same with an unknown model. The Nokia RM-977 is a single SIM card device with a 4.5 inch touchscreen.

According to the tracking information, the Nokia RM-977  is being imported from Finland into India for inter-company testing and evaluation. While there really is not that much information about the phone, given the screen size we would imagine that this is a Lumia model powered by Windows Phone. The value of the phone for shipping purposes is 7966 Indian Rupees ($130 USD).

With the Nokia RM-977 just going through some testing and evaluation, the device may or may not ever see the light of day, but it does appear to be an entry-level model based on the listed value. For now, we will file away the model number and see if it shows up somewhere else soon.

Thanks, Anonymous Tipster!
