When it comes to marketing prowess, it is hard to top T-Mobile and the carrier's CEO John Legere. The nation's third largest carrier has already teased its next Un-carrier announcement that will be held on January 5th, the first day of  CES 2017 in Las Vegas. In the latest teaser for the announcement, T-Mobile and Legere turn the wireless industry (at least from the viewpoint of the executive) into an 8-bit video game.

In the video, the player selects John Legere as his character with the mission to "change wireless for good." The Legere character gets a boost (as does T-Mobile's network in real life) once Chief Technical Officer Neville Ray hits the scene. Perhaps the funniest part of the game is when former Verizon (and now Sprint) pitchman Paul shows up, throwing a phone at Legere. Of course, that doesn't slow down the CEO who then easily navigates his way around 2-year contracts and overages.

After taking out the Duopoly of Verizon and AT&T, Legere heads up a pipe to the next level. And that next level is what we expect to hear all about on January 5th. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised to see Legere make an entrance in Vegas by coming out of the pipe shown in the "game."
