It's been a while since we've heard of something spectacular heading to Cellular South, but the wireless carrier will soon be offering the Motorola MILESTONE. Although the Motorola DROID may reign supreme in the US, the MILESTONE is accomplishing a similar status over in Europe. Just like the DROID, the version of the MILESTONE for Cellular South will retain most of the features found on the European version and will also include Android 2.1 from the beginning. Canada might have been the first in North America to see the smartphone, but US consumers will get their shot with it soon. Unfortunately, the release date has yet to be officially announced, but you can always sign up for email updates to get you up to speed with its whereabouts.
