Moto E5 Play lands at Cricket Wireless as Moto E5 Cruise
Cricket Wireless is bringing Motorola's Moto E5 Play to its network, but you'll find the smartphone under a different name – Moto E5 Cruise. The Moto E5 Play was officially unveiled back in April, but it has already made its debut in the United States at Verizon and Sprint.

Now, Cricket announced it will offer the smartphone as well. The Moto E5 Cruise costs just $99.99, which makes it a tad more expensive than the Verizon prepaid model that's available for $94.5 outright.

If you're tempted to buy Cricket's Moto E5 Cruise, you'll be pleased to know the carrier's most affordable plans start at $30 per month with no annual contracts.

The Moto E5 Cruise is a pretty decent smartphone hardware-wise and, more importantly, it comes with Android Oreo on board. Motorola included Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425 processor, along with 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal memory.

Also, Motorola's budget-friendly handset sports a 5.2-inch display with HD (720p) resolution and a good enough 2,800 mAh battery. Since it's cheap and reliable, as most Motorola smartphones, the Moto E5 Cruise is a great alternative for those looking to purchase their first smartphone or need a second phone.
