Minecraft Earth early access coming to select countries in early October
After a brief closed beta, Microsoft is bringing Minecraft Earth to more players next month. The game will be available to mobile users in “select countries” starting this October, but for the full version of Minecraft Earth, as well as worldwide availability, we'll have to wait a while longer.

The Minecraft Earth Twitter handle mentions the game will roll out in “early access” to select countries all around the globe next month. Although it's a more advanced version than the “closed beta” that some Android and iOS have been able to play since August, it's still not the final build.

Minecraft Earth is Microsoft's take on the AR (augmented reality) gaming and an extension to the Minecraft game at the same time. Players must use the AR features of their phones to hunt for monsters, as well as other challenges that award them with various resources.

It remains to be seen what are those countries where Minecraft Earth early access will be available next month, and whether or not both Android and iOS players will be able to try out, so stay tuned for more on this one.
