Mid range HTC One X10 appears to have received its Bluetooth certification
About a little more than a week ago, we told you about an upcoming mid range HTC model that would be called the HTC One X10. This would be the sequel to the HTC One A9. HTC is holding an event on January 12th and the HTC One X10 is believed to be one of the models being unveiled at that time. Today, an unknown HTC device received its Bluetooth certification, but there is some evidence to suggest that it is the HTC One X10.

The model number listed on the certificate is 2PYR1XX. Let's examine the last three characters, 1XX. The number 1 can equal the spelled out word One. The first X could be just an X and the last X could be the Roman numeral for 10. Put it all together and you get One X10. Rather subjective we know, but who is to say that this is not what the serial number means?

Rumored specs for the mid-ranger include a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The MediaTek Helio P10 chipset is under the hood with a true octa-core 2GHz CPU (Cortex-A53 cores) along with the Mali-T860 GPU clocked at 700MHz. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with a 13MP rear-facing camera sporting OIS. The price of the HTC One X10 is reportedly in the ballpark of $288 USD.

Just the other day, we told you that HTC would release three handsets over the next three months; Ocean Master, Ocean Note, and Ocean Smart are the names. One of the three could be the One X10 while another could be the new flagship HTC 11. Stay tuned!
