Microsoft introduces Cache app for iOS, Android version not yet available

Microsoft is definitely on fire. The company released quite a few apps for Android and iOS devices in the last couple of months, but it also pushed important updates to existent ones.

The latest addition to Microsoft's portfolio of mobile apps is called Cache and comes directly thorough the Garage project. According to Microsoft, Cache is meant to provide users with the ability to bookmark anything they find on the Internet, but also offline, and synchronize it to their PC or smartphone.

Moreover, Cache users can capture text snippets, images, web pages, files, reference materials, and other notes on their phones and then access it on the PC, and vice-versa.

In order to keep things organized, Cache allows users to create groups and include content by projects, tasks, clients, ideas, or anything else it might be related together.

Using Cache will also allow users to pick up where they left off regardless of the device they use. There's one catch though, for the time being, the information that you capture or bookmark is only available on Windows and iPhones.

Windows Mobile and Android devices aren't yet compatible with Cache, and Microsoft has yet to announce plans for these particular platforms. It's worth noting Cache is not yet available for download via App Store. However, iOS users who want to try it out can sign up on the app's website.

Once you land on the app's website, you will be asked to provide an email address and answer a few questions like what platforms you're using (iPhone, Android, Windows PC, Mac OS, Other). Also, you must provide the developers with a short description of how you plan to use Cache (one sentence).
