Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 officially announced
Windows Mobile 6, Microsoft’s new operating system for hand-held devices such as PDAs and smart-phones is officially announced today. The news hit the Web last week, but now it is finally official.

Devices with the new OS will be available soon. Some of the first companies to release WM6 phones will be LG, Motorola, Palm, Samsung, Toshiba, Verizon Wireless, AT&T (Cingular), HP, Telefonica and Vodafone. In the US, T-Mobile DASH will be upgraded to WM6. In Europe, Orange plans to deliver the SPV E650 smartphone from HTC.
