Microsoft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL now available to buy (in India and the UK)
Microsoft this week launched its latest mid-range smartphones, the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. The first market to get both of them is India, where the 640 costs $192 (11,999 INR in local currency), while the 640 XL can be purchased for $254 (15,799 INR). The Lumia 640 is also available in the UK, where customers can get it for £169.99.
As you may know, the Microsoft Lumia 640 has a 5-inch 720p display, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. Other features include an 8 MP rear camera, 0.9 MP front-facing camera, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2500 mAh battery. The Lumia 640 XL is also powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor, but it's bigger than the 640, coming with a 5.7-inch 720p display and a 3000 mAh battery. The 640 XL also has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Both new Lumias run Windows Phone 8.1, and will be updated to Windows 10 sometime this summer.
So, who's looking forward to buying the Lumia 640, or the Lumia 640 XL?
