King, owners of the popular Candy Crush franchise, have just soft-launched another game in the same vein, Stellar: Galaxy Commander. However, as the name suggests, the new game brings some new elements into the match-3 puzzle formula that made Candy Crush Saga one of the most popular mobile games of all time.

Stellar: Galaxy Commander mixes match-3 and real-time strategy elements. According to King, players will have an easy time learning to play the game, but the new title will be difficult to master.

Before going into details, it's worth mentioning Stellar: Galaxy Commander is a multiplayer game, so you will need an Internet connection to play the game. If no players are available to pair with in PvP matches, then the AI (artificial intelligence) will be used in PvP mode.

It's yet unclear whether or not King will introduce a solo mode as well. In fact, it's not even sure that the game will be released since King has a long track of canned projects.

In any case, if you have an App Store/Google Play account in Indonesia or the Netherlands, you will be able to download and play Stellar: Galaxy Commander for free. Just make sure you disable the in-app purchase feature if you don't want to spend real money in the game.
