Lenovo Vibe X3 specs leak on GFXBench, reveal a pretty well-rounded package
Earlier this year, we heard that Lenovo is working on a follow-up to last year's Vibe X2, which featured an intriguing multi-layered design. Said phone was unveiled in September 2014, at IFA, and as the 2015 installment of the trade show nears, it's pretty natural that information and leaks regarding a successor to the device will eventually pop up.

Here are the latest ones: it looks like the specs of the Lenovo Vibe X3 have been freshly unearthed on GFXBench, a graphics benchmark database, and it looks like a pretty well-rounded package. Here are its specs at a glance:

  • 5-inch, 1080p display
  • Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 humming at 1.8GHz
  • 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM
  • 32GB of storage, microSD card slot
  • 20MP rear camera with dual-LED flash/ 7MP front-facing one
  • Fingerprint scanner at the back
  • LTE, single nano SIM card slot
  • Android 5.1.1 with Lenovo Vibe UI running atop
Back in February, some renders and additional pieces of info regarding the Vibe X3 popped up, suggesting that it might come with dual front-facing speakers and a Hi-Fi 3.0 software for improved audio experience, but the recent leaks have shed no light on the matter. Still, we wouldn't completely write off these rumored features.

As we said, the Vibe X3 is probably slated for an early September reveal, most probably at IFA 2015.

Thanks for the tip!

The design is good. But i wish the whole black portion on the front is occupied by the screen. But i know it's not possible anytime soon.

Yeah, that front facing camera needs to go somewhere.

The design, and build look really nice. Not a fan of the fingerprint scanner placement, but I hope those are real dual front facing speakers and not a faux one on top that's just a earpiece.

You are wrong my friend, Images of Vibe leaked in month of January well before Axon even existed on the internet. Now just specifications got leaked.

well the ZTE phone is a lie. They have those fancy looking grills, to give the illusion of dual stereo speakers, but guess what? it just has one mono speaker. the fancy grill is just that. aesthetic only. if the lenovo actually has dual stereo speakers, that will put it ahead of the ZTE

This is more influenced by the Moto X from what I can see.

Are those two lines on the bottom Iphone's signature of authorship? So pathetic. If Apple farts, the whole smartphone industry tries to reproduce the smell of that fart. Bunch of low self-esteem losers.

That is an impressive looking phone and they had the sense to use a 1080p display with SN 808. Motorola and LG need to take note.
