Pitaka's Edge case is by far my favorite new one for the iPhone 18 Pro series, and the reason is the exceptionally nice woven aramid fiber build that creates a subtly textured case with a grippy light grain. It's a case that doesn't add any bulk to the iPhone, enhancing that naked-phone feel we all crave.
But the thinness here does not compromise the protection, as Pitaka says the new Edge case provides up to 80% better drop protection than before thanks to using a new Mammoth Resin for extra toughness. That's a major improvement that definitely gives me peace of mind about the protection here.
And, of course, there are strong magnets built into the case in order to facilitate complete MagSafe support.

I have to admit that Apple's foldable phone does a ton of things right from the get-go, including its top-tier IP68 water and dust resistance. But you know what? You will never see me using it naked.

Unlike the Pitaka Edge, which aims to give users a naked-phone feel with minimal side frame, the Pitaka Summa line of cases is a more standard type of case that wraps the phone completely from all sides and doesn't expose much of the frame. It's a middle ground between the thin Pitaka Edge and the rugged Pitaka Cairn.
This case utilizes 3D thermoforming to wrap the aramid fibers around the shell of the case. Protection here is courtesy of Pitaka's Orca Resin, which balances the slim looks of the case with protection decent enough for most users and most use cases.
