Leaked document shows Sony Xperia Z1 coming to Telus for $99 with a two-year pact

Leaked document shows Sony Xperia Z1 coming to Telus for $99 with a two-year pact
A leaked screenshot of an internal document for Canadian carrier Telus, reveals that the Sony Xperia Z1 is going to launch up north. The expected release date is October 15th. The beastly flagship Android model from Japanese OEM Sony, is equipped with a 5 inch screen featuring 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution, a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 20.7MP rear facing camera. Just the other day, a tweet showed off the Xperia Z1 wearing T-Mobile branding.

Besides Telus, Canadian carrier Bell also is expected to release the Xperia Z1 on Tuesday. Bell is pricing the phone at $699.95 off-contract while the leaked screenshot shows that Telus will ask $725 sans contract and $99 with a two year pact. Not a bad reason for U.S.phone buyers to cross the border. At least until T-Mobile launches the model.
