LG Stylo 2 Plus arrives at the MetroPCS website priced at just $149 after rebate
Pre-paid carrier MetroPCS has added the LG Stylo 2 Plus to its online smartphone line up. Stuffed full of features, the 5.7-inch phablet can be purchased for just $149 after a $70 mail-in rebate. The In-Cell display carries a 720 x 1280 resolution, and the Snapdragon 430 chipset is under the hood. That means the phone carries an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU, and the Adreno 505 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of internal storage. A 32GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional memory.

A 13MP camera adorns the back of the phone, while a 5MP front-facing snapper shoots selfies and handles video chats. The 2900mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

For the price, the LG Stylo 2 Plus has many of the same tools you'd find on LG's higher priced handsets such as a fingerprint scanner, the Selfie Light which improves the quality of a self-portrait, and the Calligraphy Pen Mode. Using the stylus pen that comes with the device out of the box, this feature will turn your chicken scratch handwriting into a beautiful looking script. And if you need to write down an idea, a phone number, or something that comes to mind, just whip out the stylus pen and write it down on the screen even if the phone is off. This feature is appropriately named Screen-off Memo
