New report: LG G6 will indeed have a non-removable battery

Breaking away from past LG flagship smartphones, the upcoming LG G6 will seemingly pack a non-removable battery. Cnet has it from "a person familiar" with the matter that LG had to opt for a non-removable battery because the G6 is a water-resistant device. LG already suggested that the G6 would be water-resistant, and this recently leaked render lends credence to this assumption.

Cnet also reiterates what was reported earlier this week regarding the processor inside the LG G6: it's going to be a Snapdragon 821, not the newer Snapdragon 835.

Google Assistant and a 5.7-inch display (with an unusual 1440 by 2880 pixel resolution) are also among the new highlight features that the LG G6 is expected to come with.

The LG G6 will be officially announced next month, on February 26, at MWC 2017, and it's likely going to hit US shelves starting March. Who here is excited about LG's next flagship?
