Ah, the LG G2 is finally here, which means we can go ahead and compare its specs to those of some of its fiercest rivals out there. Specs aren't everything, we know, but we also can't deny that there's a considerable dose of fun in comparing the specifications of top-shelf devices. So, being helplessly unable to resist the urge, let us examine what these babies have to offer on paper!
First thing that catches our eye - LG is trying to outshine its competitors by installing an even larger screen! With a 5.2-inch display, the LG G2 outgrows the Samsung Galaxy S4 (5") and the HTC One (4.7"), but thankfully, the G2's dimensions haven't gone out of control, as you can see. Thanks to those ultra-narrow bezels, the G2 is actually almost the same as the Galaxy S4 in terms of footprint.
Without a doubt, however, we know that specs fanatics will be most interested in the CPU/GPU part of this comparison, and what do you know - this is where the LG G2 really shines with its Snapdragon 800 chipset and Adreno 330 GPU. Obviously a class above the others, the G2's quad-core processor is clocked at the staggering 2.26 GHz, which should provide some additional punch compared to the GS4's 1.9 GHz and the One's 1.7 GHz, though we can't think of too many applications that would be able to take advantage of all the horsepower right now. Anyway, it's obvious that the G2 is a smartphone for those who want to be on the bleeding edge of mobile technology. And that Adreno 330 GPU? We're sure it'll have absolutely no problems handling each and every 3D game that comes out in the next one or two years.
A beefy 3000 mAh battery, 13MP camera, 1080p resolution screen, LTE... the G2 just has it all. If you truly care about the specs of your smartphone - we can only imagine how badly you want this phone!
