LG Fathom going live in stores & online starting on June 3
The wait is almost over for LG's venture on Verizon Wireless with their first Windows Mobile smartphone offering expected to become readily available for purchase in stores and online starting on June 3rd. Needless to say that it could might as well be considered as one of the few remaining high-end current generation Windows Mobile phones to scale the market as we near ever so closer to Windows Phone 7. Unfortunately it's going up against a healthy dose of other high-end smartphones on Big Red's lineup that may make it one difficult purchase when you look at its $149.99 price tag on-contract. However, we're sure that there are some business professionals and die-hard Windows Mobile users who don't mind coughing up the cash – especially when you consider the premium price points attached to devices like the HTC Touch Pro2 and Imagio. Although they're late in the game with a Windows Mobile handset for Verizon, it's still nonetheless refreshing to see the Korean based company make their presence known with a decent high-end Windows Mobile offering.
