Attempting to capitalize on one of their most successfully produced touchscreen handsets, the LG Cookie Fresh was spotted during the CeBIT event going on in Germany. Although the LG Cookie had a successor in the form of the LG Cookie Plus, the LG Cookie Fresh is a newer and inexpensive entry-level phone which aims to utilize the original's success to its advantage. Trying to market itself to a new segment, the LG Cookie Fresh sports a 3” WQVGA touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headset jack. Definitely not considered a high-end phone, the specs so far hint that it'll most likely cater to consumers looking for something that won't break their wallets, while at the same time, offer some of the refinements we see associated with most touchscreen phones. LG has yet to officially unveil the device, but when they do, it's expected for concrete details surrounding the handset's availability and pricing will be made publicly.
