Samsung is gearing up to launch a new affordable fitness tracker, according to exclusive video renders obtained by our colleagues at Android Authority. The short 360-degree clips show the upcoming Galaxy Fit 4 from all angles and in three different colors.
These 3D renders, shared with Android Authority by Telegram user @J09Notts, show the Galaxy Fit 4 fitness tracker in three different colors. The color variants are white, black, and what appears to be a shade of blue. If you're familiar with the Galaxy Fit 3, you'll notice the similarities.
The upcoming fitness tracker looks almost identical to its predecessor — the rectangular display, metal frame, and physical button are all there. Looking at the back, we can see two metal contacts for the charging pins; they are in the same spot as the ones on the previous model.
Further down, there are the sensors and diodes for heart-rate monitoring — again, looking similar to the ones on the Galaxy Fit 3. As for the band, the new model features a silicone/fluoroelastomer strap with a conventional buckle and a quick-release mechanism.
Galaxy Fit 4 potential upgrades and changes

Even though there don't seem to be any design changes from the previous generation, Samsung might have introduced some big software upgrades and new features on the Galaxy Fit 4. The fitness tracker started appearing in certification documents months ago.

Back in August, leaked documentation showed a Samsung wearable with the model number SM-R391 and the codename "FIT4." There were two specific leaks from the FCC and Malaysia's SIRIM regulators, shedding some light on potential upgrades. The certification documents listed a Goodix GH3036 optical sensor module, which is a low-power heart-rate sensor.
Reinforcing the efficiency route Samsung is apparently going with the Fit 4 is the Bluetooth LE support, also listed in the documents. Obviously, the tracker comes equipped with a big AMOLED display, which could be the same 1.6-inch AMOLED panel with 256 x 402 px resolution seen on the previous model.
What's missing in those certification documents is GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, or LTE connectivity. These are expected omissions, given the budget nature of the model. Speaking of the price tag.

The Galaxy Fit 4 will most likely launch in early 2027

The Galaxy Fit 3 launched at $59.99, which is a pretty affordable price tag for a Samsung fitness tracker. Most competitors featuring an AMOLED screen will set you back much more. The recently announced Fitbit Edge starts at $179.99 — three times more than the Fit 3.
I expect Samsung to slap a similar price tag on the upcoming Galaxy Fit 4, even though chip shortages could extend their reach and hike the price of that model as well. The potential launch window for the Galaxy Fit 4 is interesting, though.
The previous model launched back in February 2024 in Asia and Europe, but the US had to wait almost a year before the Fit 3 landed in January 2025. Given that strange release, I expect the Galaxy Fit 4 to debut alongside the Galaxy S27 series, sometime around January – February 2027.
Whether it will be a global release, including the US, we still don't know. How do you feel about the Galaxy Fit series? Can it compete with other fitness trackers, the Fitbit Edge, for example?
