Huawei P10 and P10 Plus specs and pricing appear on leaked document

Document allegedly reveals variants and pricing for the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus

Out of China, an alleged product information sheet for the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus has turned up in our in-box this morning. We caution you that there is no verification that the information printed on the document is legitimate, so we do suggest that you read this with your cynical eye, and take this story with a grain of salt.

According to the leak, the Huawei P10 will be offered in three variants. Those models include one with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, priced at the equivalent of $508 USD. A version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage will cost the equivalent of $595 USD. And the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native memory will be priced at the equivalent of $682 USD.

The Huawei P10 Plus will be available in two versions. The model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory is priced at the equivalent of $726. And the Huawei P10 Plus with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory will cost the equivalent of $828 USD.

Both phones are expected to feature a 5.5-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The home-grown Kirin 965 chipset is powering both devices and each model has a 12MP dual camera setup on back featuring Leica optics. The front-facing selfie snapper weighs in at 8MP. One report last month says that the only physical difference between the two models is that the P10 carries a flat screen while the P10 Plus has a curved-edge display.

Both models are expected to be unveiled February 26th at MWC in Barcelona. Yup, that's the same day we expect to see the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, the LG G6, and several Nokia handsets made official.

Thanks for the tip!

Why is everyone going to a curve screen??? The dumbest gimmick ever!! Just do edge to edge flat display. I don't mind the top and bottom bezels if they have great speakers. Enough with that gimmick of curve display.

Simple. Because they sell.

Do you know why they sell? Most companies make the edge version of their phone better than the non edge version. Take Samsung or Huawei, the higher end phone is the edge screen with better specs. If they launched a flat and a curved with same hardware and software the flat one would sell more. Usually the none edge phone is smaller and people want the bigger screen.

Apart from the battery size the Galaxy s6 has the same specs as the edge variant and same goes with the s7.

Samsung always made sure to have both a curved and flat version since the beginning with the S6 (interesting how everyone is copying them btw). If anyone is an indication of the current state of the flat market, it's them.

Samsung always launch same spec for flat and curve display and still curve display much selling. Actually a lot people do love curve display as it simply look gorgeous. I do agree edge to edge no curve also simply gorgeous nice but that one is not yet there for last year, this year probably will out some. Edge to edge display is much harder to do than curve as the curve beside need bend over the screen, it is not edge to edge in general, they is a border after the curve.

I'm not really sure if you can call something that's made for aesthetic purposes a "gimmick"

I have to say one thing though, what is the point in having a P10 Plus if it has the same size screen as the P10, all the specs will be the same except for the RAM and I would't think that in itself is enough to call the phone anything but the P10, the rumor on the screen sizes must be wrong.

p10 plus is 5.5" screen. And will have some extras like the dual fingerprint as seen in these leaked images.

Thats too much ask unless they will guarantee some kind of support in future. Because flagship that gets just 1 major update and is discontinued, thats bad.

If this come out to be truth, physical home button makes phone look cheap! To bad!

Curved displays will remain a proof of concept until someone makes a good use out of it, which I believe no one has yet but to distort the homescreen and add shortcuts for apps which you can access directly from the app drawer.

I wouldn't pay these prices - too close to Samsung and Sony prices. I'll take a Xiaomi or Meizu phone ahead of most Huawei phones - better value for money.

Xaomi and Meizu have no international stores except a couple countries. Compare Xiaomu or Meizu to Honor devices instead. For cheap budget folks, wait for Honor 9.

Whats new on P10/P10 plus: - Front fingerprint sensor and dual FP sensor in P10 plus - Next gen F2.0 Leica dual cameras with OIS - Front Infrared camera for face recognition (similar to Honor magic) - Graphene-Lithium battery tech for fast charging (similar to Honor magic) - Curved 2k Amoled display for P10 plus - Google Assistant/Amazon Alexa

Gotta be honest, I don't see anything here that would really grab me. I like the look of the Mate 9 over this by a far margin.

Way too expensive, also too big. This series had some interest for me when they were 5.2 inches. I'm tired of bigger phones. The P9 was a good size at 5.2 but I didn't buy one because of the high price compared to similar Chinese phones. Huawei wants to charge Samsung/Sony/HTC prices but they don't have the same brand image in my opinion to command such high prices.
