Hours before unveiling, the Huawei Honor 7 stars in a low-res video
The Huawei Honor 7 is expected to be unveiled later tonight U.S. time (which is Tuesday morning and afternoon in China), and while we have seen a number of leaked images of the phone, we now have the opportunity to see it in motion thanks to a low-resolution video discovered on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo.  We expect to see two different versions of the phone unveiled in a few hours, one with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The other will contain 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native memory.

Huawei really captivated phone buyers this year with a fine looking Huawei P8 flagship model. It also recently priced the Huawei P8max at the equivalent of $610 USD for China Mobile and China Unicom customers. The P8max is the largest handset on the planet, with a display measuring 6.8-inches and a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That works out to a 324ppi pixel density.

The Huawei Honor 7 also brings some nice premium looks to the table. The phone will have a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 resolution screen and is powered by Huawei's own 64-bit Kirin 940 SoC. Thanks to the time difference between China and the U.S., by the time those in the states awaken Tuesday morning, we should have all of the information regarding the Honor 7 right here for your perusal.

Huawei must be doing something right. It shipped 50 million handsets at roughly the halfway mark of this year.
