Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will be launched on June 21 in the US and UK
Niantic, the company behind Pokemon GO, and Warner Bros. have just announced that their next foray into the AR (augmented reality) game world, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will make its debut on June 21. Even though the game will eventually be made available worldwide, players in just two countries will be able to try it out at launch: United States and the UK.

TechCrunch reports that Niantic plans to hold special events across the world, similar to Pokemon GO Fests, but with another theme that will fit Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. That's about everything we know about what's coming for Harry Potter fans, but we're likely to be fed more information in the next few weeks as we're getting closer to the game's official launch.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has been in beta since last month, but only players in Australia and New Zealand were able to test it. Starting June 21, United States and the UK will be the first countries where the final version of the game will be available for download on both Android and iOS devices.

According to Niantic, the game will eventually be released world, but the company has decided to go with a staged rollout, which is why Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will only be available in just two countries. The latest trailer of the game confirms its limited availability and offers no additional details on the release roadmap. Are you excited about Niantic's next major mobile title?
