HTC event to begin 10 am EST March 1st; HTC One M9 and HTC One M9 Plus to be unveiled
Waiting to hear about the HTC One M9? The manufacturer has already announced that it will be holding an event on March 1st at MWC 2015 in Barcelona. Today, HTC said that the fun and festivities would begin at 10am EST. And even though it would appear that the HTC One M9 has already been spotted on video, HTC's Jeff Gordon said that we have no idea what is coming.

We will be in Barcelona for MWC and you can count on us to provide you with all of the exciting new product announcements. Besides the HTC One M9, we should also see the HTC One M9 Plus introduced at the event. The same day, a pair of handsets is expected from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

Besides new products, there is always news released at MWC, which we look forward to bringing you. And of course, we'll have hands-on video for you to look at. Last year in Barcelona, Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy S5, surprising us with IP67 certification. BlackBerry unveiled the BlackBerry Z3, BlackBerry Q20 (which became the Classic) and BES 12. And the Sony Xperia Z2 saw the light of day. This year's show promises to be even more exciting.

I hope that M9 plus turns out to be the leak from Evleaks. Seeing the S6 leak from earlier that looked like the S3 of old made me think twice about purchasing a Samsung phone. All these leaks ruin it for everyone. They should all wait till official word from the OEM.

I'm with Derek. Everyone has been asking for the Evleaks renders or atleast something that look like it. The recent leaks with the Htc black Bar are horrible. I think the M8 looks better than that to be honest with you.

Doesn't look so promising... htc should fire their design team, and bring new people like LG team or Apple's. Obviously, I'm sick and tired of this boring and same old design, esp that speaker grills look like cheap Chinese-made device.

This is going to be awesome. Can't wait to see if any of the leaks were real, or just fake outs.

Hopefully HTC One Plus takes a different design approach from the One M9 leaks. If not, I will have to wait to see LG and Sony offering.
