HTC Video Highlights for Windows Phone is updated
HTC Video Highlights for Windows Phone has been updated. This is the feature for the HTC One (M8) for Windows handset that is similar to the Lumia Storyteller app. The update now allows you to add screenshots and saved pictures to your collection of images, allowing you to use third party content when producing your Highlights package.

With Video Highlights for your HTC One (M8), you put together a number of your photos and videos, which are grouped together based on when they were originally captured on your phone. You decide which images will be included on your Highlights video. You can also choose from a number of already made themes. Next, you add a soundtrack. Select music that you have loaded yourself onto your phone.

After all that, you get to share your video creation by sending it to friends and family via social media. Or, you can send it via email as an MP4 file. Other ways of sharing your masterpiece include NFC, Bluetooth, Facebook and more.

Like signs of life from HTC as far as support for their top end WP. Let's face it.... it is the top WP right now period. Please HTC: For my sanity, keep it up.

It's good that people actually acknowledge this. They have Lumia shoved so far up their butt it is scary. Most of them aren't even true windows phone fans, they are Lumia fanboys. I have one of these, and it is amazing. And it isn't like Android, where going to a different OEM will change the experience. Windows phone is pretty uniform in that area. It's sad, because I have had people on this site tell me to get Lumia phones with specs from 2012 and that they are better than the M8. The Lumia fanboys are just very, very blind.

I will be picking up this bad boy in a matter of days. I have tried it a dozen times and have been more and more impressed every time. I will be retiring a Lumia 920. In my time with WP, I have had 2 Lumia's (920 & 900), and this will make my third non-Lumia (Focus S, Titan 2, and now this). Users are insane if they think there is any WP, or many Androids, that top this performance.

These people really are insane! It is the top windows phone right now, and people need to deal with it. Also, if you are picking it up, you can get a free dot view case for it, Xbox themed. It just makes a sweet phone even sweeter.
