The HTC One (M8) for Windows is a brand new handset that’s just been unveiled, but we already know a lot about it: first, it looks almost exactly like the Android-based HTC One (M8), down to the Duo Camera setup with the main 4-megapixel “UltraPixel” shooter.

The biggest difference, of course, lies in the operating system powering the device - it’s the latest Windows Phone 8.1 platform. This, and the fact that HTC brings basically the same hardware as in the spring-launched Android HTC One (M8), we are looking at a very lucrative price for the new handset.

The HTC One (M8) for Windows will be offered exclusively on the nation’s second-largest carrier, Verizon Wireless, starting today around noon online. Brick and mortar Verizon stores will get it tomorrow, on August 20th.

The price for the One (M8) for Windows is set at $99.99 on a two-year contract, or at $29.99 per month with Verizon Edge.
