Google Play Store will tell you what topics are trending in music, movies and more
The Google Play Store is adding a new feature, a section called "Trending." You'll find it under the entertainment tab which is the one that says Movies, Music, Books. "Trending" is found directly under "New Movie Releases." There, you will find the hot topics pertaining to music, musicians, movies and artists. Among the current Trending topics are musician Bruno Mars, and the Doctor Strange and Hacksaw Ridge movies.
Click on the items that are trending to see more information about them. For example, tapping on Doctor Strange will show you a review of the picture from Business Insider. Obviously, the idea behind using this new feature is to discover what people are most interested in at this moment when it comes to these topics.
Google has been working on updating its applications store. Just a few days ago, we showed you a new user interface that can be seen on version 7.1.15 of the Play Store. So far, those running Android 7.1.1 on the Nexus 6P and the Google Pixel have reported seeing the new UI, which includes a wider Install box, and some other minor changes.
Eventually, the new UI of the Google Play Store will be seen in more builds of Android than just 7.1.1. Keep your eyes peeled for the update on your Android device.
