Gionee Elife S6 appears in leaked photos; teasers show November 16th unveiling
Pictures of the unannounced Gionee Elife S6 have been leaked. The device is expected to be officially unveiled on November 16th, sporting a metal build with a gold color. If the images are legit, they reveal that the phone will be equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display carrying a 720 x 1280 resolution (HD). Under the hood is the MT6753 SoC from MediaTek, providing an octa-core 1.3GHz CPU.

We expect to see two variations of the phone being offered. One will contain 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage, while the other will have 3GB of RAM inside with 32GB of native memory. A 13MP camera adorns the back of the phone, with a 5MP camera in front to shoot selfies and handle video chats. A 3150mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 5.1 is pre-installed.

The Gionee Elife S6 is rather svelte at 6.9mm thin, and it weighs 145.2 grams. The handset is expected to be priced at the equivalent of $282 USD, although we aren't sure which variation of the phone that price covers. We should know next Monday when Gionee makes this device official. Until then, feel free to peruse the images of the device that you'll find in the slideshow below. Among the pictures are a couple of teasers that show the November 16th date when the Gionee Elife S6 will be unveiled.
