Garmin launches a collection of Star Wars-themed smartwatches
Although we're still a few months away from the next episode in the Star Wars saga, products that celebrate the upcoming release are starting to appear. Garmin is one of the brands that teamed up with Disney for the launch of such Star Wars-themed products and, as we all know, Garmin is famous for its smartwatches.

The newly announced Legacy Saga Series is a collection of Star Wars-themed smartwatches and along with the character-influenced Garmin Connect app offer a unique experience suitable for Star Wars fans.

The Legacy Saga Series comprises two special edition GPS smartwatches inspired by the Resistance's hero, Rey, and iconic villain, Darth Vader. They both come with engraved slogans and bezels adorned with character insignias that pay tribute to these two Star Wars characters.

The Rey Special Edition smartwatch features a premium Jedi-inspired white leader band and has the Jedi insignia engraved on a silver bezel. The wearable device includes character-themed watch faces, goal animations, and a Jedi-themed Garmin Connect app experience that offers users exclusive visuals and badges, Rey-inspired avatars and more.

According to Garmin, the device should offer up to seven days of battery life in smartwatch mode and comes with an additional white silicone band in the box. The Rey Special Edition smartwatch is now available for purchase for $400.

The second smartwatch revealed by Garmin, the Darth Vader Special Edition features a premium black leather band with Sith-red stitching and textured gray nubuck leather interior. The bezel is textured with details inspired by Vader's TIE Advanced X1 cockpit and the “Rule the galaxy” quote.

Just like the Rey Special Edition model, it comes with character-themed watch faces and exclusive content. However, the Darth Vader smartwatch promises a battery life of up to eight days and includes an additional black silicone band in the box. This one will sell for $400 as well.
