Fix is ready for HTC EVO 4G owners who installed unofficial build of Froyo

Just as promised, HTC delivered on their word by pushing out a fix for those HTC EVO 4G owners who happened to install the unofficial build of Froyo earlier than the actual official release. HTC EVO 4G owners should be receiving a notification regarding the installation of the 4.17MB update – bringing you up to snuff to build 3.26.651.6 and in line with other handset owners. The most interesting part about it all is the speedy response it took for HTC to cook up such a quick fix for the problem – which bodes well for just about any issue found with the device. Now let's hope that translates into other devices, meaning, pushing out new updates without the extended wait to see them come to fruition.
